Install BK Chat

Android (Chrome)

1. Open chat.bedkingdom.co.uk/console in Chrome and sign in.
2. Tap Install on the bar at the top, or ⋮ menu → Install app / Add to Home screen.
3. Open BK Chat from your home screen and tap Enable alerts → Allow.

iPhone / iPad (Safari, iOS 16.4 or later)

1. Open chat.bedkingdom.co.uk/console in Safari and sign in.
2. Tap the Share button (square with arrow) → Add to Home Screen → Add.
3. Open BK Chat from the home screen, sign in again if asked, then tap Enable alerts → Allow.

On iPhone, notifications only work from the home-screen app, not from a Safari tab.

Windows (Edge or Chrome)

1. Open chat.bedkingdom.co.uk/console in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome and sign in.
2. Click the install icon at the right of the address bar (a small screen with a down arrow or a +), or click Install on the bar at the top, then Install.
3. BK Chat opens in its own window and appears in the Start menu. Right-click its icon on the taskbar and choose Pin to taskbar.
4. Click Enable alerts and choose Allow. New chats will then show as Windows notifications, even when the app is closed, and the taskbar icon shows a count.

No notifications? Check Windows Settings → System → Notifications: notifications on, BK Chat (or Edge/Chrome) allowed, and Do not disturb off. In Edge or Chrome settings, keep "Continue running background apps when closed" on.

Mac / other desktops (Chrome or Edge)

1. Open the console and sign in.
2. Click Install on the bar at the top, or the install icon at the right of the address bar.
3. Click Enable alerts → Allow. Keep Chrome allowed to run in the background.

What you get

• A notification with a sound when a customer starts waiting (all agents), and when your customer replies (only you).
• It shows the customer's name and their message. Tap it to open that chat.
• No notifications? Check the phone is not on Do Not Disturb / Focus, and that notifications for BK Chat (or Chrome) are allowed in Settings.
